Marilyn Jean IV Fishing Report

Pretty heavy winds last few kept us inshore a lot of the time the past few days.  Still picking at Porgys and Fluke on the days we have to stay close and there’s still Ling And a few Cod to be caught out in the deep were we fished most of today.

The night trips have been less consistent but we have still manage to put some Stripers and Blues in the boat most nights.

Seabass opens 6/27

LING in the Day and BLUES/ BASS at Night !

Ling fishing has steadily been improving on the morning trips.  High hooks average around 20 fish.  There are a couple of Porgy’s and a few Codfish around as well.

On the 7pm night trips Big Blues have been eating everything in sight.  Limits of the Big choppers has been common.  Once in s while a Striped Bass gets to a bait but the Blues have been way more aggressive.

BIG BLUES DAY N NIGHT

BIG BLUEFISH have settled into our Bay and we have been loading up on them whenever we have been out wether it be day or night.  There have been a few Stripers mixed in, mostly on the night trips.  We will continue to sail every day at from 7am-3pm and 7pm – 12am for Blues and Striped Bass.  Even on rainy days we will still give it a shot because there are fish in the Bay and we are protected from the big seas.
