We limited out on Super Jumbo Pogys Monday and had another good catch of them today… Weather looks great next few days come on down and dig in !
Bluefishing was slow the last of 7pm night trips but we did nail a few nice Striped Bass last night.

Bluefishing was slow the last of 7pm night trips but we did nail a few nice Striped Bass last night.
Ling fishing has been good with most fares filling a bucket of the tasty fish in there buckets. There have also been a few Cod sprinkled around the bust everyday.
Big Bkues continue to fill the cookers on the night trips, with an occasional Striped thrown in.
Ling fishing has steadily been improving on the morning trips. High hooks average around 20 fish. There are a couple of Porgy’s and a few Codfish around as well.
On the 7pm night trips Big Blues have been eating everything in sight. Limits of the Big choppers has been common. Once in s while a Striped Bass gets to a bait but the Blues have been way more aggressive.
We are now bottom fishing on the 7 am morning trips. Ling have been biting well and there are a few Cod and some Porgy’s around. The night trips continue to slam the Big Blues with some Striped Bass mixed in.
BIG BLUEFISH have settled into our Bay and we have been loading up on them whenever we have been out wether it be day or night. There have been a few Stripers mixed in, mostly on the night trips. We will continue to sail every day at from 7am-3pm and 7pm – 12am for Blues and Striped Bass. Even on rainy days we will still give it a shot because there are fish in the Bay and we are protected from the big seas.
Big Bluefish have settled in and the day trips have been loading up on them.
Night trips have also been loading up in Big Blues with some Stripets mixed in.
Headed out with another light crowd today, and the Bass were up and hungry for jigs. Hammered jigs and Crocs worked best. Even caught some Blues.
Still seeing good action on the night trips although more shorts keepers right now on the night bite.
We sailed with a light crowd today and put a couple of nice size keeper Striped Bass in the boat. Also released a few fish. All fish were caught on fresh Bunker today. We did not sail last night.
Morning Striker fishing has been off to a slow start. Just one nice Keeper on Saturday and one Bluefish on Sunday. We haven’t sailed the last couple of am trips.
Night fishing has been better, after getting skunked Friday and Saturday night we managed a couple of keepers and some shorts. Sunday night, we also had some short action but no keepers on Monday evenings trip. All fish were caught on sanworms.
Striped Bass season opens 4/15, that this Friday ! The Marilyn Jean IV will begin sailing everyday for Stripers at 6:30 am to 2:40 pm starting Friday 4/15. We will also start night Striped Bass fishing every night from 7pm till 12am on Friday. There have been good reports of Stripers already and will fish with Clams, Bunker and jigs when the time is right.
