We have had some good Blackfishing at times, the last couple of days were slower but there have been Junbo Porgys, Seabass and Cod to help fill in the gaps.

The 7pm night trips are also starting to steadily produce some quality Struoed Bass. Last night was the best trip of the week. Look at theses beauties !!
We are seeing some of the best bottom fishing of the season right now.
Today was our first day out since the storm and the opening of Blackfish season. We started out bailing on PORGYS but then one Blackfish came up … And another and before you knew everyone switched over to crabs and realized there were plenty of Yog under the boat ! By the end of the day many had there limit of Tog with a mess of Porgys to go along. Hopefully this is the start of a great Blackfish season.
The Marilyn Jean IV will not be sailing again until Tuesday 10/6 at the earliest. The weather has the ocean churned up good, so it will be till at least tuesday or Wednesday before it settles down. Have a great weekend and we hope to see you all next week.
Some very nice size Striped Bass and Some Blues have been on the prowl again on the night trips. Live eels have been the bait of choice.
Some pics from the 7 am trips.
Limits all around the boat !
Nice BIG PORGYS still Dillon the buckets on the 7 am trips.
The Porgy fishing was a little slower with this weekends full moon tides. Fishing has picked right back up again the last couple of days with nice BIG PORGYS biting the right way and a few Black Seabass Mixed in.
