Let’s just say: WOW! These night fishing expeditions have been incredible of late, and yesterday’s outing was no different. We’re catching the ~~ VAMPIRE PORGIES ~~ which have been biting wild at night all around us, all weekend long. While we’ve had to fight the current a few times, the action has been non stop.

Our boat has been *on fire* when it comes to catching bluefish and bass. We’ve been hitting the water, getting a bunch of fish with every outing. Except, apparently, last night. Last night was a rare dud. We tried a bunch of spots but only found a bunch of dogfish, and the striped bass and

Bluefish have been biting, and it’s been fantastic. Everyone has been getting in on the action, with lots of sizes ending up on deck. We’ve been chunking with bunker (throwing out smaller fish pieces in order to attract and catch larger fish, for those that are new to fishing) and it’s been working *really* well.

For the next few weeks, we’re doing strictly fluke about the Marilyn Jean, and today’s trip provided a lot of action. We went out fluke fishing today from 8am to 1pm, and there were a ton of nice keepers along with all of our other catches. It was also one of the best weather days
