Our boat has been *on fire* when it comes to catching bluefish and bass. We’ve been hitting the water, getting a bunch of fish with every outing.
Except, apparently, last night. Last night was a rare dud. We tried a bunch of spots but only found a bunch of dogfish, and the striped bass and bluefish absolutely were not cooperating. We’re not too worried – we’ll take a look for new spots before even going out on the water tomorrow – but this stuff happens. No boat bats 1.000.
That said, a couple of guests did manage to nap some porgies, so it wasn’t a total waste of a night.
We’re heading to an entirely different area tonight, seeking much better results. Come join your favorite New York City Fishing boat next time!
