Hey guys we were able to get yesterday and today. Yesterday there was hardly any life on the bottom and we got the skunk. Today was totally different the Blackfish were chewing and 50-60 fish came w 10 nice keepers. We Also had a keeper Cod. See ya tomorrow 7am.

Night Striped Bass starting 4/21 7pm to 12am
First few areas were quiet Saturday exept for some dogfish this morning. There was a nice size ground swell left over from yesterday’s wind that diminished as the day went on. Capt.Tony did find some Blackfish life later in the day. Most fish were short but there was a good amount of bites all on the clams. Pool fish was an 8lb Tog. Sunday the Tog wouldn’t take the clams except for a few shorts. We did manage a couple nice Codfish on sunday. We didn’t sail Monday or Tuesday. We will try again Wednesday at 7am, and the weather looks really nice through the weekend.
We will have crabs available for bait on all upcoming trips.
Hey guys, it was a real nice day out there today as you can see in the pics it was nearly flat calm. Fishing was not good we caught a couple keeper Cod and a bunch of short Cod on the 120-140’ wrecks. The deeper drops had more perch life and a few Ling and Blackfish came up.

It is confirmed that Blackfish is open from 4/1-4/30.

Update 4/7 canceled due to wind/rain
The Marilyn Jean IV is ready to go for 2018 fishing season. As of now we have scheduled 6am to 5pm Mudhole trips for this weekend on 3/31 and 4/1. $80. of course the trips are weather permitting so we will confirm by Friday. Tickets are available online. We will be fishing everyday starting 4/7. word is Blackfish will open in NY on 4/1 but its not confirmed yet.
We will be fishing the Mudhole wrecks and rocks around 20-30 miles out. Fishing depths between 120′-180′ deep targeting Blackfish, Ling, Cod, Pollock, Eel and other wreck dwelling fish. This trip will depart at 6:00 am and return around 5:00pm. Tackle suggestions : 10 oz. to 16 oz. lead sinkers, 40 to 60 pound test line, 4/0 – 6/0 hooks. Tackle is available for purchase on board. Fishing rod rental is $5.00. Limited galley menu please bring lunch. Clam bait and buckets included. Limited to 35 people. $20 cash pool pay on board ! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before sailing time.
We had a nice start to the day today, but the ocean got cranky as the day progressed. Fishing was not good just a handful of nice Ling, big Perch, some eels and a few short Cod and Tog. Chulo went home a happy man after hitting the $440 boat pool with a Big Ling. We will schedule our next trips based on nice weather around the weekends, so as of now there are no trips scheduled. We are Blackfishing on the 7am morning trips. The Blackfish have been biting a little better lately last week fishing was slow. We missed a few trips due to the strong winds earlier this week. As usual with Blackfishing the more experienced anglers catch more fish. We are Fishing for Striped Bass with live eels for bait on the 7pm night trips Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. There were still some Stripers around last weekend.
We are sailing daily for black fishing 7 AM to 3 PM the weather is cooling off and black fishing should be heating up. We are striped bass fishing Thursday through Sunday nights from 7 PM to 12 AM. Last weeks trips were good !
After a couple days off due to the stormy weather we were back out there yesterday and the bottom was lively ! With Blackfish biting the crabs and Porgy’s and Seabass for those who fished the clam baits.
We sail everyday for Blackfish 7am to 3pm.
The fall fishing season is starting to get right. Tog Porgy’s and Seabasss are biting on the 7am morning trips and on the 7pm night trips the Stiped Bass are starting to open there mouths !
Fishing has been very good all around ! Porgy’s are still here in abundance Blackfish are starting to bite and now Seabass is open in federal waters again !
We are not sailing 10/24 due to weather.
