We have been catching nice Big Porgy’s on the 7am morning trips lately.  Thursday and Friday were the best days in a while so we stayed Porgy fishing all day long.  Saturday we had the annual John Martini Memorial charter.  Sunday we caught Porgy’s in the morning then hit some Ling spots in the afternoon. The Porgy’s really bit well yesterday especially on the sand worms. We caught nice Ling over the weekend to go with the Porgys. At Night Blues are hitting with some Porgys and an occasional Striped Bass mixed in!

We have  been starting our morning trips Porgy fishing close to home, some days the Porg’y bite and some days they don’t.  We then move off to the deeper water where the Ling have been biting pretty good on most trips. At night there are more Bluefish than striped Bass and we are using Bunker

Porgy’s and Ling have been biting on the Morning trips at 7am.  Blues have been hitting hard with a few Striped Bass mixed in on the night 7pm trips.

Big bluefish have moved in at night and we continue to catch Ling very well in the morning.

The Ling fishing has gotten better every single day since we have started bottom fishing. Porgy season is now open and there h have been a few of them caught, hopefully that continues to improve. At Night, Blues are starting to move in with some Striped Bass and weakfish. Sailing every day at 7 AM

The day started off slow, but by the end of the day the ling were biting and everyone went home with at least a few nice fatty Ling. We will be sailing every morning at 7 AM for Ling from now on, and striped bass every evening at 7pm. Follow us on instagram !   instagram.com/p/BTZtrPYBwjr/

We will now be bottom fishing on the 7am to 3pm trips for Ling and Cod.  We will continue Striped Bass fishing on the night 7pm – 12 midnight trips.

The Striped Bass fishing on the 7pm night trips has been producing the better catches so far.  Here are some pics from last night and last Saturday nights trips.
