As far as weather goes, it’s been pretty amazing. As for fishing, we probably can’t say it’s “great” but we can say it’s “good.” As you can see from the photos, many people caught fish, but we found we had to search around for porgy at many different spots and all of them were okay, but none of them were “hot.”
We found that worms have been working a lot better than other forms of bait, so if you’re okay with worms it might be worth giving them a try as we seek out a more active location. Don’t be discouraged, though. We’re still catching a lot of fish and the weather is beautiful. We’re just looking for spots that are maybe bit more active.
