Fishing Report 8-24-25 – Settling In

The storm caught a lot of us by surprise, and looked for a time like it caught the fish by surprise as well. For a short while, all the spots with a ton of bites and action were no longer viable. We had to take the boat and search around to look for anything that our guests could get their hands on.

It took a bit but we were able to find some action in two spots. We were first able to put together a nice catch of large and jumbo porgies in one location, then we moved around and found some spots and croakers as well. The ocean is still a little turned up from the storm so we’ve been fishing inside the bay instead. It’ll take a bit of time for the rest of the water to settle.

Overall, we can say that – despite the storm trying to make it difficult – fishing has been good, borderline great, and getting better every day. Here are some photos from the day:

Remember that we are sailing three trips every day from port:

  • 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • 7:30 PM – 12:30 AM

Each trip has been bringing different fish aboard so join us at any time and let’s help you with your catches!
