Fishing Report August 15 2025 – Fishing Was On Fire

Wow, last night’s fishing was *incredible*. This had to be one of our best days in a long time. The porgies turned on the jets and took over, but what made it even more incredible is that it wasn’t just the porgies. We had croakers and spots mixed in as well.

How good was it?

Check out the High Hook for the night: 28 porgies, 50 croakers, and 20 spots!

Usually we try to show you some photos of the trip but we had a bit of trouble with the camera. Still, we have a few shots:

It’s not just nighttime fishing that has been on the up and up. Daytime fishing has also seen huge improvements, especially after a surprisingly dead week. The bite is getting better and better with jumbos getting into the mix each and every trip.

Don’t forget that we’re saying three separate trips:

Morning: 8 AM – 1 PM

Afternoon: 2 PM – 6 PM

Evening: 7:30 PM – 12:30 AM

Weather can still be a factor once in a while but as long as it’s safe to go, we’ll be out there.
