Fishing Report 7-23-25 – Lots of Action, Some Porgy

No photos from our most recent fishing trip, but it was definitely a good one. We had a lot of spots and croakers invading our area, biting incredibly well and helping to provide a ton of action throughout the day.

That’s the good news. The bad news is that daytime porgy fishing is on the slower side (although we do have some jumbo porgies that have been biting in between the spots and croakers, so some guests are catching some whoppers), but most of the people finding the best porgies are catching them during our nighttime outings, when the vampire porgy fishing kicks in. Those bad boys are biting frequently, along with croakers, and spots, so the rods are basically always bent.

We’re still having a great time on the water during the day trips, but the night trips are the best option at the moment for those that want to take home a lot of porgy. Either way, you’re sure to have a good time.
