The last three days have been a incredible, and that’s been AFTER a week of near equally incredible fishing. On the 12th, we hit a full boat limit of porgies AND even hit some bluefish while we were out there. The 13th and 14th were just as wild, with porgies biting so often that some people had to stop because they were catching too many fish!
It’s been a great run for both keepers, or those that are just there for the fun of the catch. Porgies appear to be plentiful, and – at least thus far – they haven’t shown any signs of slowing down. Here are some photos from the event:
As you can see, we had some full boats too. Overall, it’s been a busy past few days and the fishing just has not slowed down at all.
While the weather has been wild, we have been going out 3 trips every day:
- 8am to 1pm
- 2pm to 6pm
- 7:30pm to 12:30am
