Our last trip was Saturday 1/30 and we fished spots in the 100 to 150′ depths. There were bites everywhere as far as keepers just a couple of Cod and some Ling. We also released a bunch of Blackfish.
We we will try again this weekend at 7am for Cod and Ling and we may take a shot at some Mackerel if they happen to be in our travels.
our next trip will be on Saturday 12/31 at 7am for Ling and Cod. We will sailing limited weekend trips through the winter.
some nice Big Blackfish have been coming up on the white crab baits.
The Stripers continue inhale the live eels on our 7pm to 12 midnight trips with some Jumbo Blues mixed in !
The Fall Striper run is On ! Catches have been good at night and last night was awesome. Everyone caught and released nice keeper Bass. Tog and Porgy’s on the morning trips has also been good.
As the water starts to chill off Tog are starting to turn ON !
Blacks starting to chew on the 7am trips and there are still plenty of Porgys around.
Last night the Striped Bass were on the feed, sucking down the Live Eels.
We will now be Strioed Bass fishing every night on our 7pm to 12 midnight trips. We will be using Live eels and or Wirms for bait. We caught a few Keeper Bass on last nights trip and fishing should improve as the waters chills down.
The morning trips are still loading up in nice sized Porgys and Blackfish season is now open so there will be some of them mixed in. We supply clams and greens crabs for bait.
Yes the Ooegys are still biting there heads off day and night. Come on down and get your before try are gone for the winter.
