Fathers Day weekend wrap up… Unfortunately the Porgy’s did not cooperate on Saturday mornings trip, although they TURNED ON for the 7pm trip and all went home with a nice amount of fish. Sunday morning we started out looking for the Porgy’s but again they did not want to eat in the daylight. We then headed offshore where everyone was able to put some nice tasty Ling in their buckets to take home.
On Monday and Tuesday the Porgy’s were back on the feed. Many LIMITS were caught especially on Tuesday morning !
We have been Porgy fishing on the 7am to 3pm trips and catching mostly nice BIG fish.  On the days they did not cooperate we filled in with some nice Ling.  Today the Humpback Porgys’s were biting and there was no need to fish for anything else !
At night we have also started to catch BIG Porgy’s mixed in with some Blues.  7pm to 12 midnight
We will also have half day Fluke trips on 6/17 Father’s Day 8am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6pm.

Had our first really good catch if Porgys yesterday. Â Â A light crowd came very close to limiting out on scup !
And don’t forget about the night Bluefish !
Fishing on the 7am trips has been pretty good lately, with some nice BIG Porgy’s showing up and plenty of tasty Ling in the ocean. Also some fluke, Flounder and Bluefish have been mixed in on some days !  Night fishing remains hot with big Blues and Bass coming up on the 7pm trips.
Good action on the 7pm to 12 midnight Striped Bass and Bluefish trips continues, with Bass up to 31 pounds and mixed sized Blues coming up with an occasional Fluke in the mix.  The day trips are seeing good numbers of tasty Ling when we fish the deeper drops and a few Porgy’s inshore.  We caught some nice Fluke inshore last week on bad weather days.  Weather is looking great this week and the Marilyn Jean is sailing  everyday two trips a day.
Also look for Capts Lady half day Fluke trips through Memorial Day weekend.
The Ling fishing seems to get better everyday average catches of 10 plus fish per man lately and getting better. We have also seen a few nice Codfish to take the pools. The Striped Bass have also been biting on the pm trips.
Nice day out on the Marilyn Jean today, the weather was great and the Ling are starting to come out of there holes. Even had a nice BIG Codfish to take the pool today. The MJ4 i sailing full day bottom fishing everyday.
The Capt’s Lady sailed two half day trips today and had good Fluke action especially on the afternoon trip.  The Capt’s Lady will be sailing half day trips tomorrow and on upcoming weekends.
Haven’t been able to get out much in the day time lately Striped bass fishing. So we gave bottom fishing a shot today and caught a few Ling. Not good fishing yet but the first good signs of Life on the bottom since Blackfish season has closed. Good Striped Bass action on all night trips so far.
