Marilyn Jean Fishing offers memorable fishing trips around NYC for first-timers to the most experienced anglers. Join us to journey through New York Harbor, off the coast of New Jersey, and to some of NYC’s best fishing spots. You will travel on one of our high-end fleet with an experienced captain, and have the opportunity to catch trophy striped bass, flaky cod, and several other exciting and tasty Atlantic fish.
Our NYC fishing charters run throughout the year with trips departing almost every day. Captain Tony at Marilyn Jean Fishing has been leading fishing excursions almost daily for more than 20 years. He is an expert at seasonal fish activity and locating the hottest fishing spots in the area. Daily Fishing Trips in NYC
We depart from the famous Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn to areas such as Rockaway Beach, Jamaica Bay, Sandy Hook, Coney Island, and more. Along the way, you can enjoy the sights, the NYC skyline, and the relaxation of being out on the water.
Once we reach our fishing destinations, our team provides quality bait as part of your ticket cost. We also have rods and reels available to rent for $5 if you do not have your own equipment, and tackle available for purchase.
There are multiple trips you can choose from depending on your experience level and the type of fishing you want to do with half day, full day, and evening trips:

We look forward to providing our customers with the finest and safest service, as we have done for the last 20 years! Our pricing can change with timing and seasons, but is typically:
- Full Day Trips (Typically 7am – 3pm) – $90 Per Child, $95 For Seniors, $100 for Adults
- Night Trips (Typically 7pm to 12am) – $50 Per Child, $70 For Seniors, $75 for Adults
- Half Day Trips – $50 Per Child, $65 for Seniors, $75 for Adults
NOTE: We are currently going out on the water for Cod and Ling. Starting April, we are also headed out *every day*.
We also offer special trips throughout the year, like our 4th of July Fireworks cruise. These trips book up quickly, so book early to get the best view of the fireworks in the city.

Fishing Report 4-16-24 – A Good Start, But a Rough Finish
Not every day is going to be a great one. Last night started extremely promising with immediate sightings of striped bass, with both keepers and shorts. But later in the night, as the tide shifted, things slowed down considerably. We went to multiple spots throughout the Bay and couldn’t get any more catches the remainder of the night. We expect most nights to be better, and of course, those that were able to catch some fish early still managed to secure some delicious options for their homes. We’re headed out again tonight and every night, along with our morning blackfish and ling trips that we leave for from 7am to midnight. Even though it wasn’t the best finish to our night, it was a good start.
